Yamasaki, Katie

Katie Yamasaki is an award-winning children’s book creator and an internationally acclaimed muralist and teaching artist. Yamasaki co-facilitates an expressive arts program at the Bedford Hills Correctional Facility and is a former NYC public school teacher, faculty member at the School of Visual Arts, and teaching artist at the Center for Fiction. She lives with her family in Brooklyn.
