Weitzman, Jacqueline Preiss

Jacqueline Preiss Weitzman is the author of several books for children, including the award-winning You Can’t Take a Balloon into the Metropolitan Museum and its sequels created with her sister Robin Preiss Glasser of FANCY NANCY fame, and the critically acclaimed Superhero Joe books, illustrated by Ron Barrett. Her most recent books are Gloria’s Promise: A Ballet Dancer’s First Steps, and Flower Girls: A Story of Sisters, both co-authored with her sister Robin. Jacqueline lives in Hastings-on-Hudson, NY with her husband, writer Larry Weitzman.
