What volunteers do:
Each and every volunteer has an important job to help make the Chappaqua Children’s Book Festival an inspiring success. Jobs can include helping with set up (signage, tables, chairs, and books), greeting authors, welcoming visitors, running the check out and registers, helping authors during readings and signings, and so much more…
Specific jobs will be assigned when you check in for your time slot at the Volunteer Station.
Who can volunteer:
We welcome our entire community to volunteer. You can volunteer individually or as part of a group. Families, friends, sports teams, scouts, clubs, colleagues – All are welcome to be part of this exciting day.
Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult.

Simply sign up for a time that works best for you and check in with the Volunteer Station at Chappaqua Station 10 minutes before your start time. We will assign you a job and send you off to have a lot of fun.
