Steve Sheinkin is a former textbook writer who is now making amends by writing history books that kids and teens might actually want to read. Nonfiction titles include The Notorious Benedict Arnold, Bomb, Lincoln’s Grave Robbers, The Port Chicago 50, Undefeated, and Born to Fly and his newest title, Fallout. His books have received many awards, including a Newbery Honor and three National Book Award finalist honors. He lives with his family in Saratoga Springs, New York.
