Munro, Roxie

Roxie Munro (“Visual Thinker”) is the author/illustrator of more than 55 nonfiction, STEM/STEAM, and concept books for children, many using “gamification” to encourage reading, learning, and engagement. Her books have been translated into French, Italian, Dutch, Chinese, and Japanese. Out in 2026: Treasure Thieves on the High Seas: Pirates, Privateers & Plunder (Holiday House) and A-MAZE-ing Airport Adventure (SchifferKids). (OSociety of International Librarians Honor Award; Bank St College Best Books of 2012,w/Outstanding Merit); Busy Builders (Bank St CCLL Cook Prize Honor for STEM), and series of nine nonfiction giant and fold-out KIWi Storybooks. Roxie’s work in in numerous galleries, museums, and public & private collections including The Eric Carle Museum, the NYPL,Mazza Museum (Ohio),Zimmerli Museum (Rutgers), Univ of Minnesota (Kerlan Collection), Southern Miss (De Grummond Collection); more.
