Carole Lindstrom is a New York Times bestselling and award-winning author of books for young people. Her picture books include We Are Water Protectors, My Powerful Hair, Autumn Peltier-Water Warrior, The Gift of the Great Buffalo, and her debut historical fiction middle grade novel, Red River Rose. Her books tend to focus on the land and our relationship with it. She is Anishinaabe/Métis and a proud citizen of the Turtle Mountain Band of Ojibwe.
