The Truth About Triangles
Michael Leali

Michael Leali (he/him) is an award-winning author and veteran educator. He earned his MFA in Writing for Children and Young Adults from Vermont College of Fine Arts. His debut middle grade novel, The Civil War of Amos Abernathy, won the 2023 Golden Kite Award in Middle Grade Fiction and was a finalist for a Lambda Literary Award. He is also the author of Matteo and The Truth About Triangles.

Originally from the suburbs of Chicago, IL, Michael now lives in the San Francisco Bay Area with his partner, their dog Bubba, and many, many books.
