Jackie Azúa Kramer is an award-winning, internationally translated children’s book author with a Master’s in Counseling in Education. A 2017 and 2021 Bank Street Best Children’s Book of the Year and 2023 Bank Street Best Children’s Books in Spanish. A Junior Library Guild Gold Selection. A Parents’ Magazine Book Pick and 2021 Chicago Public Library “Best of the Best Books” and winner of 2021 Society of Children’s Books Writers and Illustrators, Crystal Kite award. Jackie strives to write books that meet children where they are and reflect what children see in their mirrors and out of their windows. She lives in Long Island, NY.
