Healy, Kay

Kay Healy is the author and illustrator of the Casey’s Cases graphic novel series published by Neal Porter Books. Her debut graphic novel, Casey’s Cases: The Mysterious New Girl, was the recipient of the 2026 BolognaRagazzi Award and received starred reviews from Publishers Weekly and School Library Journal. When not making books, Healy draws, screen prints, and sews fabric soft sculptures in her studio. She lives and works in Philadelphia with her author/illustrator husband, Greg Pizzoli, and their two daughters.
