J.J. GRABENSTEIN is the co-author of the early reader chapter book series STINKY’S STORIES as well as the acclaimed middle grade novel SHINE! She’s toured the country in musical productions, appeared off-Broadway in NUNSENSE, and has won awards for her audio book narrations.
Being married to a children’s book author got J.J. thinking about the books she read as a kid. There was one story she wished she had read but she couldn’t because the book didn’t exist yet. So, she told Chris the story and they decided to write it together. That story was, and is, Shine!
