Elise Broach is the author of nearly thirty award-winning children’s books, including picture books, early readers, and middle-grade mysteries. Her newest young reader series is Bulldozer and Friends, about a bulldozer living in a human family. Her bestselling mystery, Masterpiece, is a frequent choice for One School, One Book programs. Elise lives in Connecticut, where she works as a writer/editor for the Scholastic magazines and teaches creative writing at Yale University.
