Steve Behling is a passionate about telling stories for kids. He has written books, comics, articles, puzzles, games, and more for Disney, Random House, Little Brown Books For Young Readers, HarperCollins, Marvel, Hasbro, Mattel, DreamWorks, and more. He writes the original middle-grade series Agent Stitch (Disney Press, 2022). His own series, The Monstrous Adventures of Mummy Man and Waffles! from HarperCollins debuted August 2024. The latest book in the series, Mummy Man and Waffles: The Dire Deeds of Doctor Gargo, published in August 2025. He was invited to collaborate with best-selling author John Patrick Green on InvestiGators: Case Files (First Second, 2025). He’s also the author of Spidey and His Amazing Friends: Team Spidey Does it All!, a collection of first-reader comics. Steve lives in a top-secret subterranean lair with his wife, two human children, and three-legged wonder beagle, Loomis.
