Lindsey Stoddard is the author of five critically-acclaimed middle grade novels including Just Like Jackie, Brave Like That, and The Real Deal. She spent ten years teaching English at an amazing little school called MS 324 in Washington Heights, NYC, where she immersed herself in children’s literature and practiced her own writing alongside her students. She earned her MFA in Creative Writing for Children and Young Adults from Vermont College of Fine Arts, and now lives back in her home-state of Vermont with her husband, her two kids, and their dog.
