Lisa Varchol Perron is a children’s author and poet whose work has been featured in numerous anthologies, journals, and magazines. Lisa’s books include Patterns Everywhere (Golden Kite Award Finalist, Junior Library Guild Gold Standard Selection, and School Library Journal Starred Review), My Love for You (Amazon Editors’ Pick and A Mighty Girl Pick of the Day), and Tell Me About Space (NSTA Outstanding Science Trade Book). Her forthcoming releases include Tell Me About Oceans, All the Rocks We Love (coauthored with Taylor Perron), and Wonder Why.
Lisa is also a licensed psychotherapist. She earned her MA in Humanities from New York University and her MSW from the University of California, Berkeley with a concentration in Children, Youth, & Families. She currently lives with her family just north of Boston, Massachusetts.
